Matthew Moore, IFTP-CCT
Matthew Moore is the Artistic Director of Improv for the People and he founded IFTP in 2008. With a deep-rooted passion for service, stemming from his extensive experience in the hotel industry for over 20 years, Moore has a genuine commitment to bringing teams together to achieve a shared objective. He is a graduate of Purdue University.
Renowned as a thriving improvisation studio in Los Angeles, California, IFTP boasts a distinguished faculty of seven remarkably talented improvisers and trainers. This exceptional team allows IFTP to provide unparalleled improv classes, industry-standard improv shows, dynamic corporate trainings, engaging podcasts, and an array of other remarkable offerings to its clientele.
Ava Abdoulah, IFTP-CCT
Ava Abdoulah is from Las Vegas, graduated from the University of Southern California, and loves all things comedy. Ava is the daughter of two improvisers, so this craft has been in her life since day one. After a few years in New York, Ava has returned to Los Angeles and couldn’t be more thrilled to be teaching and performing again with Improv for the People’s Main Company. She believes the skills learned in improv are foundational for healthy communication and meaningful connection. Ava has facilitated numerous corporate improv trainings and team builders with IFTP.
Jaymie Parkkinen, IFTP-CCT
Jaymie Parkkinen is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and UCLA where he was a staff writer for Satyr, UCLA’s comedy magazine. Jaymie practices law in Los Angeles.
Jaymie’s experience with corporate trainings is vast, teaching improv classes and leading team builders across the country with IFTP.
Benjamin Roth, IFTP-CCT
Benjamin Roth hails from Allentown, Pennsylvania and has been studying and performing with IFTP since the fall of 2016.
After working in advertising for a few years, Benjamin decided to leave the corporate world and move from behind the camera to in front to perform comedy full-time.
Benjamin is fascinated by the real-world applications and benefits improv provides and wants to help people feel comfortable expressing themselves through imagination and play. Benjamin has been leading and teaching IFTP corporate trainings and events for many years across the United States.
